What is Bioinformatics?
What are we doing?
How are we prepare ourself to change future of science
Bioinformatics Lab, as a branch of ACM Club, actively functioning and running in our campus, is aiming to both, achievement and success of students and school itself. Our main focus is sharpening and polishing necessary skills for a Bioinformatician/Computational Biologist of our current members and other required skills in the areas of their interests essential for team projects. Another mission, Bioinformatic Lab conducts is development of an environment open to everyone who want to direct their academic and/or extracurricular path on Computational Biology and related fields. Working environment denotes different types of corporations, bringing up and solving together problems, and making the lab outcomes applicable, and sustainable for outside world.
Meetings are every week on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am - 10:00am at NAU ACM Room (810)
- • Following an open source online Bioinformatics Curriculum
- • Specially designed tasks to teach newcomers
- • Rapid learning with Presentations
- • Research Collaborations
- • Training new comers by lectures
- • Attending Conferences
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.
If you work on your job, you’ll make a living. If you work on yourself, you’ll make a fortune.
If you want to compete in bioinformatics, first you need to compete for really smart people. You need really smart people who understand how to manipulate nanomolecules.
Science is a teamwork
